i'm an undergaraduate psychologist and live in london uk and planning to move to Domenican Republic with my family after i finished studying, i'm looking at buying a property in a safe and family kind of area by the ocean, i've never been to island before but i've heard so much about it that i've fallen in love with it ' it would be my dream come true if i could get a job and move to the island with in the next couple of years. does any one one knows anything about the immigration law and how to find a job in health care and social services and education wellfare? are there any good schools? as i have a little one, will appieciate any help and info.

Have you done your homework on this place?

As far as I'm aware it's one of the most poorest islands, crime is high and infrastructure is not what you'd be used to....

I was in that Island, last year, with my wife. It's not our first carribean island, but I'm sure what I'm saying.
It's the most poorest place I ever seen. Also People don't like to work so much, they prefer dance all the day ...
This is my idea. Also there are a lot of thieves.
